Google has officially unveiled its latest generation of hardware, including the Pixel 11 series, Pixel Watch 5 and the new Pixel Tag Bluetooth tracker. The company’s newest smartphones bring a redesigned camera bar, the new Tensor G6 processor, improved AI capabilities, longer battery life and faster charging.
The Pixel 11 lineup includes four models: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Pre-orders for the new devices are now open, with shipments scheduled to begin on August 20.
Google Pixel 11 Series
The biggest announcement of the event is Google’s new Pixel 11 smartphone family.
All four phones are powered by the new Tensor G6 processor, which Google says delivers up to 20% better power efficiency, 25% faster browsing and 15% faster app loading compared with the previous-generation Tensor G5.
The processor also improves on-device AI performance, allowing Gemini Nano to operate with lower latency and higher quality. Google says this will improve features such as live translation and computational photography.
The Tensor G6 also includes a redesigned image signal processor and Tensor Processing Units that are reportedly 50% more powerful than those in the Tensor G5.
Improved Pixel 11 Cameras
Camera performance remains one of the major highlights of the Pixel 11 lineup.
Google says the new phones can process computational photography tasks faster, allowing low-light photos to be captured up to 4.5 times faster.
The company is introducing Instant Night Sight for faster nighttime photography, while Pro models support up to 120x Pro Zoom.
The Pixel 11 also receives a redesigned camera bar featuring edge-to-edge glass and a metal frame. The new design gives the phones a more refined appearance while reducing the amount that the camera module protrudes from the back.
Pixel 11 Price and Specifications
The standard Pixel 11 starts at $899 with 256GB of storage.

The phone features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,424 pixels and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
Its rear camera system includes a 48MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 10.8MP telephoto camera.
The main sensor is larger than the previous generation and offers a wider 85-degree field of view. Google has also increased Super Zoom capability from 20x to 30x.
The Pixel 11 has a 4,985mAh battery, slightly larger than the Pixel 10’s 4,970mAh battery. Google claims the new phone can provide up to six additional hours of battery life.
Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL
The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL starts at $1,299.

The Pro models feature brighter displays with peak brightness reaching 3,600 nits. Google also claims that the displays have twice the scratch resistance of the previous generation.
The phones start with 12GB of RAM, although customers can upgrade to configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of storage.
The camera hardware remains broadly similar to last year’s models, but Google has upgraded the maximum Pro Zoom capability to 120x, compared with 100x previously.
Meet HiLight
One of the most unusual additions to the Pixel 11 Pro models is HiLight.
HiLight is a circular LED system surrounding the rear camera flash. Rather than simply serving as a visual design element, it is designed to provide subtle notifications when the phone is placed face down.
At launch, HiLight can indicate when Gemini is listening, processing or responding. It can also alert users when a favorite contact is calling, including calls through WhatsApp.
The feature is designed to reduce unnecessary screen notifications while still ensuring users don’t miss important alerts.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold
Google’s foldable smartphone also gets an upgrade with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The external display has increased slightly to 6.5 inches, compared with 6.4 inches on the previous generation. The aspect ratio has also changed from 20:9 to 19.5:9.
The outer display now supports a refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz, compared with the previous 60-120Hz range.
Both displays can reach up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness.
Interestingly, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is lighter than its predecessor. It weighs approximately 8.4 ounces compared with 9.1 ounces for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
However, Google has reduced the battery capacity. The new model features a 4,750mAh battery, compared with 5,015mAh on the previous generation.
The camera system is largely unchanged, although the main camera receives some hardware improvements similar to the standard Pixel 11.
Super Zoom has also been upgraded to 30x.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at $1,899 and is available with 512GB or 1TB of storage. Color options include Obsidian and Olive.
Longer Battery Life and Faster Charging
Google says the Pixel 11 lineup can deliver more than 30 hours of battery life, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is rated for up to 24 hours.
The phones use Google’s Adaptive Battery technology to dynamically adjust power consumption based on how frequently individual applications are used.
Google also introduced Extreme Charging Mode, which prioritizes charging performance when users need to quickly top up their phone.

The company’s magnetic Pixelsnap accessory ecosystem also receives charging speed improvements across the lineup.
Pixel 11 Price Increase
Google has increased the price of every Pixel 11 model by $100 compared with its equivalent Pixel 10 model.
However, the company is partially offsetting the increase by increasing the base storage of the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro to 256GB.
All Pixel 11 models also feature IP68 water and dust resistance and run Android 17 out of the box.
Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Tag
Google also unveiled the Pixel Watch 5 alongside its new smartphone lineup, expanding its wearable ecosystem with new hardware and features.
The company additionally introduced Pixel Tag, a new Bluetooth tracking device designed to help users locate important belongings.
Pixel Tag enters a market already dominated by products such as Apple’s AirTag and Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTag, giving Pixel users a dedicated tracking accessory within Google’s ecosystem.
